This proud and industrious nation is connected to mainland China opposite Japan. A mountanious country with stunning scenery, Korea also boasts magnificent sights, temples and architecture.

A quarter of Korea's population lives in the capital city of Seoul which is a modern city home to great shopping, art galleries and musuems. One of the most popular places for visitors is Seoul Tower, the symbol of Seoul, aswell as the many department stores, parks, cafes and restaurants. Major drawcards are the Palaces - Gyeoongbokgung and Deoksugung, both places are worth a visit as well as walking around their surrounding areas. Alternatively you could consider an overnight stay in Gyeongju (Kyongju ). Gyengju is the richest city in Korea in terms of tourist attractions. It is a beautiful city with a cultural history of over 2,000 years. There are many musuems, in fact the whole city is a museum.
